Virtual Terminal
Enter a cash payment on Virtual Terminal
As of August 12, 2020, merchants can record a cash payment on the Virtual Terminal. Now, when taking a payment through SwipeSimple on a computer, merchants can choose to record the transaction as “Cash” and will not need to enter in the customers credit card information. Payment Links
With Payment Links, merchants can now accept payments with a simple web link. Here are some example use cases:
Create a link for customers to easily make a payment or donations remotely
Buy inventory directly from their website
Include a Payment Link in any email
This feature is expected to be released in September 2020 and will automatically be available to all SwipeSimple gateway merchants. It will not need to be configured by reseller onboarding teams.
Terminal App
SwipeSimple Terminal App V5.13.2
The latest version of SwipeSimple Terminal App is V5.13.2. With this release, SwipeSimple Terminal supports Post-Auth Tip Adjust and merchants can edit items in their cart during checkout.This feature is available for all merchants as of July 29, 2020.
SwipeSimple Terminal App update
The most recent version of SwipeSimple Terminal App is V5.13.3. This release allows merchants to add discounts to items in their cart and includes minor product improvements for enhanced merchant experience. This version is expected to be released on August 26, 2020.
For existing Terminal merchants:
Merchants should be on the latest version, V5.13.2.
Please push the update to V5.13.3 beginning August 26, 2020.
For new Terminal merchants:
Please direct your deployment teams to always use the most recent version of SwipeSimple Terminal App when onboarding new terminal merchants. Effective August 26, 2020, the most recent version is V5.13.3.
SwipeSimple Mobile V5.13.0 allows resellers to off SwipeSimple as part of their cash discounting program. For resellers that have a signed Automatic Adjustment Form on file, you can enable merchants with a SwipeSimple Gateway merchant account for Automatic Adjustment. This version is available as of July 14, 2020.

SwipeSimple Mobile Android V5.13.2
The latest version of SwipeSimple Mobile App on Android is V5.13.2. With this release, merchants enabled for Automatic Adjustment (used in conjunction with your cash discounting program) can edit items in the cart during checkout. This version is available as of July 29, 2020.
